My Liberica is not your typical JB Instagram cafe. It is Malaysia's first and only specialty coffee operation built entirely around Liberica beans, a rare third species of coffee alongside Arabica and Robusta. The family-owned operation runs the full chain: their own plantation (converted from palm oil), their own processing facility, their own roastery, and this cafe in Taman Molek where you can taste the results.
The coffee is distinctive: strong, aromatic, with a slightly acidic profile that is genuinely different from anything you will find in Singapore's specialty coffee scene. Must-tries include the hand brew classic and the Piccolo Latte. The cafe also has a cocktail bar (DCAFF Bar) that does coffee-based cocktails for evening visits.
The interior feels more like a serious coffee bar than a brunch spot: fully equipped bar with professional coffee-making equipment on display. The vibe is subdued and plush rather than Instagram-bright. Taman Molek is a residential neighbourhood, quieter and less crowded than Mount Austin, which is a plus if you are actually there to drink good coffee rather than take photos.

Coffee is the main event. Single-origin beans, manual brew methods, barista competitions. Food exists but the latte is why you came.
